This design gives me a tropical feeling. Using an ice mold for the chocolate flower, poured in some melted (blue) white chocolate and let it harden. I handmade the leafs out of marshmallow fondant and placed them on top of a white fondant circle. The cupcake is chocolate with creamy peanut butter frosting. Fishbowl Cake Pops!
Ever since I discovered the simplicity of a Cake Pop I've been hooked! I am in love with these things. A bite size piece of moist cake covered with chocolate... and there is no end to how they can be decorated. I used chocolate cake, covered it with blue melting chocolate, simple added some sprinkles and a Gold Fish and I have created a yummy masterpiece :-) For more tips and tricks Like my Facebook page!
Fishy Cupcakes
These were so much fun to make. I was practicing these for an upcoming order. I'm excited to make them in all kinds of colors. I used a mini chocolate cupcake with whipped cream icing and melted white chocolate to shape the fins. For the eyes I use Smarties and melted chocolate instead of buying already made eyes that I think are over priced. I would also add a little red heart for the lips, I'll keep am eye out for those or some thing similar. To see some other fun goodies I made visit my Facebook page!

Making my own Christmas Cards!
With it being our first Christmas as a new family I'm taking this opportunity to start our family traditions. First thing on my list is to make my own cards with Tyler on them. We searched around for stores that have Santa so we could take pictures with him but the only one we found him in was the mall. Long lines and high prices just for one picture... I don't think so! I decided to make them myself. I dressed him up and sat him down next to our 2 foot tree and snapped a bunch of shots of him playing with the ornaments. I chose this one because his Dad says it looks like he just got caught peeking at presents :) It came out so cute!

| Cranberries! |
We went to Aunt Nina's for turkey dinner and I brought homemade mashed potatoes (my first time mashing them!). Josh wanted to make a bunch of bags of instant potatoes but I wasn't going to let that happen. This is the one day that you must make everything from scratch... besides the stuffing of course :) I love microwave stuffing. Tyler eat a little bit of everything and he had cranberries for the first time.

Baby Tag Time!
It's my turn! I have a list a baby questions and I have to answer them about Tyler. Here goes...
Weight and length at birth? 8lbs 13oz 21in
Favorite brand diapers? I got a bunch of different brands from my baby shower, my fav is Parents Choice. Not only are they more affordable, I think they fit and absorb the best.
Size diaper bag and brand? I got a big one from my baby shower that's made by Fisher Price, but I only use that for an over night bag when he will need more things like his bath stuff, toys and blankets. For his daily bad I use a small one that I got from the hospital that's made my Gerber.
Did you use a swing? Yes! He was either in our arms or in his swing for the first month. Now that he is 3 months old he rather be playing on his mat and doing Tummy Time.
Do you recommend a mat? Yes! I have one that looks like a jungle and it's great for Tummy Time and also has toys that hang so he can reach for then while on his back. I didn't think he would use it but I just bought one and he loves it. I actually posted a video of him playing on it on my YouTube. You can watch it Here :)
Do you recommend a bassinet or pack n' play? Yes! He slept in his bassinet every night and I had it next to our bed so I could keep an eye on him and it's easy to move around. As of two weeks ago he is too big for it and now sleeps in his pack n' play. We have a crib but it's in storage right now. When we move he will be sleeping in it and his pack n' play will be in the living room for naps.
Do you use a soother/ what kind? I didn't use one until I stopped breast feeding. I use a Binky. I didn't want to give him one but when I did he seemed a lot more relaxed and it helped him fall asleep easier. He only uses it now when his teeth hurt.
What items did you buy but don't need? Um, I got a swing, changing table, stroller (with matching car seat and two extra car seats), bassinet, play mat, pack n' play and a crib. I use everything but I don't think you really need a crib if you have a pack n' play. I also want to say how amazing my friends and family are for giving us most of these things, even the swing that we bought with a gift card from my baby shower..♥.
Your must have item? Lots of moms say a changing table is not needed but I Love mine and use it for every changing. I takes the place of a dresser too because I keep all his clothes on it's shelf. (the ones that fit him this month lol) I always sneak in a small Tummy Time after changes also!
Any advise on breastfeeding or bottle? I think it is important to breast feed, or at least try it. That's why we have boobs!! I loved doing it, I can't really explain the emotional feeling other then saying it feels amazing. After only two weeks of doing it it started to hurt so bad that I would be in tears. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong so I stopped. I felt bad but I knew I couldn't keep on. As for bottle, my favorite brand is Avent. I got a nice variety from my baby shower. I like this one because it has a ring in it that lets air in but doesn't leak.
Bedtime routine? When he was born he was up for feedings ever 3 hours and that was extremely exhausting. Now that he is 3 months his bedtime is 9 and he has been sleeping through the night for the past 2 weeks :)
Yours/ daddy's/ baby's hair and eye color? All of us have brown hair and bluish green eyes. Tylers eyes are mostly blue.
Any last advise? You will always receive advise from people whether it's good or bad, it's your job to do what you think is best for your child. I find that multitasking is the key to motherhood. When you are buying clothes for your baby don't always go by size. I've seen some huge ones that say newborn and some small ones that say 9 months. Ask your friends to buy a verity of sizes for your baby shower. You will go through newborn sizes quick.
Well that is all I have for now. I'll be back with more baby fun, news, and advise soon! You can watch my baby videos while you wait :) Here is my YouTube channel... Subscribe, comment and enjoy.

My thoughts on Pretzel M&M's
I was at Wal Mart last night picking up some goodies for me and my Valentine like his favorite Reese's and Twix for me. As we waited in the checkout line I noticed these Pretzel M&M's and decided to grab a bag since I've been interested in trying them since I seen their cute and funny commercial. I love chocolate covered pretzels and the salt brings out a different flavor in the chocolate but I am sad to say that I was dissapointed in these little guys. Described as “crunchy,” “salty,” and “sweet,” these latest M&M's are only saying "crunchy" to me. The undersalted chunk of pretzel is too big and there was bearly any chocolate between it and the candy coating leaving my mouth dry. I think for me, when it comes to M&M's, I'll stick to the peanut pack.

Re-opening my Etsy shop :)
Instead of doing a "Theam Week" this week I am going to be talking about my own items I will be selling soon. It is so much fun being able to use my crazy imagination to make things and it's even better when someone is interested in buying them. I've been going through all of my craft supplies from when my shop was opened last year and I think it's time to re-open it. I have a bunch of tiny items and miniature cabinets that need to be painted like the one in this picture I am inspiered by. So while I'm working on those I'm going to add some supplies to my shop that I wont be using. I have 2 posted so far and I'll be working on some more in the morning, but for now...prego is craving Oreos!

Baby Week~ Scarletrevolution.Etsy.com
I don't know what it is about baby footprints but when I seen them on this necklace it just melted my heart. I found this one in a shop called Scarletrevolution. She uses origami, scrapbook, and handmade papers placed on metal rings and preserved in layers of dimensional sealer. I love how you can put the simplest things together and create something so amazing. Check out the other necklaces she makes and sells here!

Baby Week~ Snickerdoodlesforyou.Etsy.com
I am happy to say that I have never been peed on while changing a diaper...yet! I've had plenty of opportunities being that I have 3 nieces and now 3 nephews. I hope my luck doesn't change when my little one arrives. I've never heard of anything like this before, these "pee pee teepees" seem like a must-have accessory for every baby boy’s diaper change. I found these in a shop called Snickerdoodlesforyou. They even have a nice little ribbon sewn into the tip for picking them up to help leave your fingers dry if your little boy dose go pee pee. I think these are practical and would make the perfect baby shower gift for any mommy and daddy-to-be. She machine sews them herself and has a variety of prints and colors to choose from. You can find these here!

Baby Week~ Ecomaternity.Etsy.com
I'm starting up my "Theam of the Week" with "Baby Week". I was browsing through some of my favorite Etsy shops for handmade baby supplies and maternity clothes when I came across this adorable t-shirt. It made me smile. It's made out of soft organic cotton and is hand-printed with baby feet walking across the tummy. How sweet is that? She also makes them in other fun colors like pink for a baby girl and brown for nutral. Check out the selection in her Etsy shop here!

It's a BOY!
This has been a busy week for me. Celebrating my birthday, buying new clothes that fit, doing our baby registry and telling everyone that we are having a boy :). The "Aunt to be" went with us to my appointment and I seen her face light up when she saw baby on the big screen for the first time. She has two little ones of her own so she knows how special this check up was for us. He is developing well and everything seems to be on track. I feel huge already and I'm only half way there. I totally agree that the second trimester is way better then the first. Besides having no more morning sickness, I now have a "bump", daddy is now able to feel baby kicking and best of all...we found out we are having a boy.

I'm Pregnant!
We have been trying to conceive for a few months and after a couple of negative tests I patiently waited another month to take another test. I remember waiting in the bathroom for what seemed like forever until the test was complete as my hubby waited in the bedroom. When I looked at it and seen the little positive sign I was shocked and filled with happiness. I put the test down and slowly walked to the bedroom with a huge smile on my face. After looking at each other for a few seconds I finally said "It's positive" and he jumped up and gave me a huge hug. So we spent the next week going to the doctors and finding everyone so we can tell them all individually face to face.
Almost five months later... I am finally over the "morning sickness" and past the "chubby" stage. I'm clearly showing now and everyone says I'm carrying low. My boobs got bigger but so did my love handles. I've been taking belly pictures like crazy and I'm loving it. The week of Christmas I started to feel tiny baby kicks and now it feels like there is popcorn cooking in my belly. I notice I can feel it kicking every time I eat. I get my hubby to put his hand on my belly every night to see if he can feel it yet but he says he still can't feel anything :( I can't wait to see his reaction when he finally dose feel it and I know soon we will be able to see it moving around in there. My baby ''week by week'' website says that this week baby is the size of a large tomato. My next doctors appointment is Tuesday the 18th (2 days after my birthday). I'll be 20 weeks and we will be able to find out the sex of the baby...fingers crossed for a GIRL!
